The Orioles Bike Cage
The Oriole's Bike Cage is the little shop that could. It exists in a children's park and wading pool area, inside the shack for putting on your ice skates in the winter. They're funded by the DMSMCA, a community association within Winnipeg. They have the best patrons, with lots of families new to Canada, kids running around all over the place and great friends. They have awesome volunteers, too. Wayne Petty is the only guy opening up shop on Christmas Day, and Greg Unger is right there beside him.

Bike Pirates
Bike Pirates have been around since July, 2006, and hold up (or down) the anarchist cycling community in Toronto, Ontario. They have a library of books, a wide social network of volunteers, lots of social events, and they've even won awards for their educational services. Check them out if you're ever cycling through Toronto.

University of Winnipeg BikeLab
The UWSA Bike Lab is committed to community engagement and being a welcoming and safe neighbourhood meeting place and learning space. They exist right in the heart of the downtown campus, and they're housed inside two re-purposed shipping conatiners. That little space hosues everything they need, and their big hearts, too.
